    I'm not really new to DIVX or Xvid, but recently I have seen you can make 5.1 movies but I don't know how to play the back with 5.1 audio. Can someone recommend a 5.1 video plaback program.

    Assuming you have an AC3 codec installed on your computer something like Zoomplayer or BSplayer will work just fine.
