needing to know where to post my problem

i was wondering if someone could direct me to the right place of where to post my problem.

i am having problems with my windows media player. doesn't matter which version but for some reason i am now unable to view a mpeg or mpg as it is downloading. it acts as an avi and will not start till the whole file is downloaded. all other video formats work correctly. any help or redirection to the right place to post this problem i sure would apprecite

i have searched microsoft and have found nothing yet. i have unistalled and reinstalled but that did not help either
