  1. just wondering if it's possible to change/add to the wizard ie i'd like to add a VCD(PAL) category that (a) shows up with CBR of 2000 and time/700 or 800mb. also (b) can i change the default bitrate setting, particularly the motion search precision setting so's i don't need to go in there every time and change it manually?

From the main program window, select Load and your template you would like to alter. Alter all the settings you want, then select Ok until you are back to the main window again. Select Save. You must rename the file here, or you will have to reinstall TMPGEnc to get your default template back. Once the template is saved under your new file name, it should be available in the wizard the next time you run it under the name you gave it.
    Hello.

I found that it doesn't save all of the settings that you make. You'll still have to change some manually.
