DVD Backing-Up

Hi there

I've currently got a Pioneer DVD Writer, and DVD X Copy Platinum as my software, but recently, I've tried to back-up a couple of movies and they've been unsuccessful.

Firstly I copied 'Blow Dry' starring Alan Rickman, and this is Miramax, but it said, Error blah blah sectors.
And not long ago, I tried to back up 'The Office: Series 2' which is BBC, and still getting same error message.
All others work splendid.

Can you shed any light on this. Is it harder to back-up DVDs from certain companies. Is there any patches I can get to prevent this error occuring in the future?

try dvdshrink and/or dvddecrypter.
