Good authoring progam to create custom menus I own an E100

I own an e100 and would like to create custom moving menus, possibly add songs to scenes, and make those nice transitions to other scenes. I can not affor Maestron or scenarist. Is there any other good programs out there that can do this? I read a recent article in PC magazine where they gave Sonic Mydvd 5.0 their choice award; however, I read the reveiws on cnet.com on mydvd4.0 (5.0 wasn't available) and the reveiws were horrible. Any suggestions? Thanks

Try TMPGEnc DVD Author since it will let you import from either DVD-R or DVD-RAM

You could also try DVD-Lab which sounds like it might be more willing to do what you want to do with fancy menu design but it seems most stand alone Panny DVD recorder people use TMPGEnc DVD Author for ease of use (especially with DVD-RAM) and the fact that it works and works well.

Menu design in TMPGEnc DVD AUTHOR ain't as able to do the stuff that you can do in DVD-Lab but for my money DVD-Lab has too many bugs and inconsistencies in it.
