    WHat are the correct settings. If I have audio set to Demux it comes out as an AC3 file and all distorted. If I use Decode it comes out as a .Wav, but takes 1hr to convert with a 1.4 Ghz Athalon.

    Can someone please tell me what the settings should be.

    What do you want to do with the decoded audio stream?
    If you want to convert it to VCD audio, decode the AC3 stream and downsample it to 44,1kHz (high or ultrahigh), unless you want to use a different downsample tool.
    Yes, that takes quite long. That's the price for high quality.

    Have 48kh -> 44kh unchecked (None), TMPGEnc reads the 48kh WAV just fine, my times went from 2 hours to 30 minutes just by doing that (AMD Ath Tbird 800)
