  1. I just got an ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro card. My Dell 8300 Dimension has SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. I want to transfer concerts from VHS to DVD format on an internal DVD burner.

My questions is this - do I need to buy an audio card like a soundblaster or somthing like it, or is my stock integrated digital audio suffice?

Iappreciate your feedback and thanks in advance for you help!

I have the soundmax integrated audio on my motherboard as well.
Along with an ati 7500 capture card.
I have zero audio problems with the soundmax chipset.
Why don't you try it first before you plunk down hard earned money
on a sound card you might not need????
