I have a Canopus ADVC-100, I used ScLive to capture a 2.5 hour program, but by mistake I had set a 1.5 hour limit on each clip, so when I finished recording the program, I noticed that I had two seperate .AVI files, one was 1.5 hours long, and the other was 1 hour long.
How do I go about joining these clips back together again?![]()

If your files are type-2 avi (or you convert them to that format) you could use virtualdub to join them.

Yes, they should be type 2, that was what I selected in the ScLlive menu.
You wouldn't happen to know where to start in Virtual Dub to get into mux mode would you? I haven't used Virtual Dub for anything other than captures with my old capture card.
If not, I guess I can figure it out when I get home from work.
Thanks for your help bro. -
In virtualdub. Select file->open and open the first avi file. Then select file->Append Avi Segment and select the second avi file. Now select Video-Direct stream copy, Audio->direct stream copy and File-Save as Avi. This will now save out a new copy of the 2 avi's joined together as 1.
Hope this helps. -
