have heard somewhere that it is possible to erase/delete some fix text in a vcd.

i got some video already in vcd that have text in it( you know some person put his name in the right bottom corner or icon or put a title/web adress in top .....)

so my question , how can we delete this???

    thanks for your time

As far as I know, you can't. If you extract the video and run it through a program like virtualdub you can mask a logo, but if it's burned into the video, you can't simply remove it.

    thanks for reply.

what i have heard is that we can do something with tmpgenc.

    you know how????

what about vdub, how can i mask ??

p.s was thinking it was possible to remoove , cause if it's a still image in a video(always at the same place ,) so with some soft , will be able to remove it.but i know it sounds weird.

You can "mask" it with a logo removal filter for Virtualdub (see TOOLS section) but it will not erase it. What it does is use the surrrounding area to sort of blur it (as Redwudz said). You may prefer that or you may not.

There's a few types of filters, some better results than others, some a little trickier to do than others.

You can learn about them on Virtualdub's site or searches here in forums.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1
