i used studio 7 to save a vcd mpeg1 & burned it to a cd using nero 551. everything during the burning process seemed to work fine, however, it won't play on my panasonic dvd c220 (carousel). now, the dvd player also doesn't play cd's that i've made, but it says it's vcd compatible. i've got 2 coasters now, and i'm on the verge of buying a more modern cd player. anyone have any suggestions?

    bigjr123,

As reported by users, your Panasonic C220 doesn't accept CDR midia. Plays/works VCD but burned on CDRW midia only.

thanks for your reply. cdr as opposed to cdrw? so if i just use a cdrw disc, it should work? i'll try, if not, that's 3 coasters & i'm getting a new dvd player!

also, i put the cd-r disc in my pc dvd & tried to run it using windvd. it just flashed the menu i made for a second & then went back to the black screen. can this mean that i set up the menu wrong in nero? i set it for "infinite". thanks!
