Just tried editing a captured file with VirtDub. 2hr 15mins video with a few cuts was going to take over 6hrs to complete. Took 30 mins using EZedit with cutting and pasting. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong as editing is intrinsically easier with Virt Dub and I'd sooner use it?

did you select "Direct Stream Copying" under Video?
did you select a different codec?
what are your system specs? I ususally get 60-100fps if I select Direct Stream Copy, and I'm just using an AMD 1700XP processor...- housepig
