  1. To make a DVD for my player I am encoding in CCE with an AVISynth script for speed. My divx already has borders so I used FitCD to crop and work out the values because I cannot get my head around encoding yet. I then tested it in mediaplayer but I noticed AddBorder was putting borders on the left and right also, which looks annoying. I then changed those values to zero and it was fine but then when I try to DVD author after encoding this edit has changed the resolution from 720x480 and refuses to work. Please help.

  2. If you use TMPEG instead to encode your file you can use whatever cropping settings or borders you like while it's encoding, also you then select the right type of template for dvd the encoded file should be fine.
I could dance with you till the cows came home..... on second thoughts i'd rather dance with the cows till you came home.
