I'm trying to re-encode an m2v file with the exact same GOP structure as the original. I've unchecked the "Detect Scene Change" box and checked the "Force Settings" box and specified that it should start as IBBP. But, Tmpg always encodes as IPB which screws up the whole GOP stucture for the whole thing. I think I can work around this, but just wanted to know if anyone else had noticed this, or if it's some kind of bug/feature.

why would it screw up the GOP structure ? in fact there is no need to duplicate the original GOP as it would not matter anyway as mpeg GOP components are read out of order ..
