    Hi all,

Can someone explain how to re-author a supposedly non-compliant VCD using VCDEasy?

I have some VCDs that won't play on my DVD player, while I have others that will play and someone suggested that the VCDs that cannot play are not compliant...

    Thanks for your help.

Isobuster will rip the .dat-mpegs from the disks and return them to standard mpeg files. Look in the "Guides" for directions. You can then re-author, just drop it into VCDEasy and burn. If that doesn't work you may need to re-encode your mpeg to standard VCD spec, TMPGEnc can do that. The guides section will help there too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll download the programs and try it out.
