  1. Hi.
Could somebody familiar with DVD-lab explain me please what it is all about ("auto action" in "button link" tab) and what should I expect from such a function?
    DVD-lab's help file didn't help.
    Thanks

I believe the auto action function is used to perform an action upon selecting a button, rather than selecting a button and clicking on it.

for example, having a button that once you select it, it automatically takes you to another menu, rather than selecting and then pressing enter.

this can be useful if you're making switched menus - lets say you have two movies, and one large graphic representing the first movie. when you go to a button that says "movie #2", you force the action which switches you to another menu with a large graphic for the second movie.

take a look at the mediachance website, there is a tutorial about switched menus.

  3. Ok. Thanks "housebig".
I just had to use keyboard to move around menu buttons to see auto-action button responding. With the use of mouse it is impossible.
