I am sure this question has been asked, bu I was unable to find the answer. Can someone please tell me what I need to set this puppy to rip some awesome video? Also If I use the plug-in for Adobe Premier how do I export Audio in 4800 instead of 3200. Maestro will not accept the 3200 smple rate? I have been ripping the audio out of Premiere using Microsoft DVI Codec to export a 4800 AVI then converting in cool edit pro to a 4800 PCM Wav File... Is there an easier way?

I just got one question:
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????? -
Ahh ok dmbware41 I think I understand what your asking (in wasn't phrased very clearly) you have your audio in 32,000 and for encoding purposes you need 48,000 - ok probably the easiest way is to strip the audio using VirtualDub
Set Full conversion on the audio and choose the 48K high qaulity conversions and then Save WAV
Sorry I can't give you a more concise explanation but I'm at work
This way you avoide re-encoding your video and you save a huge amount of time - you can then feed your audio into whatever you need - probably CCE
In future you may find it easier to capture footage in 48K mode on your camera instead of 32K mode if you can -

I am sorry guys and gals, but I was on one of those computer highs, sorry my post did not make a bit of sense... This is my problem:
I am outputting to mpeg-2 from AVI (Capture from my 3CCD Cam) and I am trying to use the CCE Plug IN for Adobe Premiere. First I would like to know the setting to use for outputting. What produces the best quality mpeg-2 file? CBR, VBR, two pass three pass etc.... I am currently using multi-pass CBR set to four pass. 8,000 bit. Second I was trying to figure out how to output my audio so that it is in 4800 rather then 3200. However I believe I fixed that by changing the audio output on the next button of the adobe premiere plug-in window... And yes the audio was captured in 4800… Finally I am having problems outputting a 55 minute video. For some reason it is only giving me 52 minutes. Is this a built in Trial issue, or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks for all of your replies!!!! -
It is really annoying to see you keep talking about your audio at 3200 vs 4800. Sorry maybe it is just me. Audio is either 48000 (48k) or 32000 (32K).

okay what do you mean by trial issue? What are you using that is a "trial" version?
As for encoding quality, 5 pass will give you stellar results but is SLOW. 2 Pass in CCE at the bit rate you are using is very very good, no real need for 4 pass or greater unless you are obsessed with the highest quality possible.
