  1. I was wondering if there is a way in Toast 6 to export your DVD as a VIDEO_TS? I wanted to do this so I can then use DVD2ONEX to shrink it down to fit on 1 DVD.

sure, but it will be contained within a disk image.
just do like you normally do then instead of burning, just save to disk as disk image. then mount and use that video_ts folder for dvd2one.

If you do that and your DVD video data is still encrypted, DVD2OneX will not work.

Yes, sure ... but the poster asked about Toast 6 ... So what we're saying is, yes you can use Toast, but only if your DVD isn't encrypted with CSS. If it is, use DVDBackup instead.

right, I thought he/she was asking about putting a file into toast, say a .avi and it says you need 5 gigs to make the dvd.
so instead of giving up he/she wanted to just save the video_ts folder to the HD, then dvd2one it so it would fit on a dvdr.

i dont see any problem doing this.
