New Here and in need of help

I have copied 2 home DVD's with DVD Cloner and DVD X copy Express with my Sony DRU500AX using both DVD+RW and DVD-RW. Neither played the movie in my Audiovox D-1700 portable player. Any reason why? Do I need to use DVD+R or DVD-R to get it to work? All original DVD's play with no problem.

is this the one you have?

looks like it will play +R, or -RW, but not -R or +RW

will the discs play in any other player?

Yep, that is the one I have, and they do play in my Pioneer DV-434 Player
It says -RW and I tried that with no luck.
