creating chapters on the e80h

Can someone tell me how to divide my movie into chapters on a Panny e80h. I know it gives the option to "divide" from the navigator but the manual seems to imply that this will only divide the movie into 2 pieces and no more. Do I have to create a playlist for each "chapter" to divide up the movie or what? Boy the manual for this thing sux!

You should be able to keep dividing the newly divided segment. You create your first chapter by dividing, then go into the newly created second chapter and create your second divide point, and keep repeating. You are effectively creating new titles, but they are selectable from the menu. You will still have the default "every 5 minute" chapters within these tiles/selectable chapters.

When you divide the program there will be a pause of about half a second in the resulting ending/start points of the resulting chapters, so choose wisely (there is a preview mode to show you what it will look like before committing). If you are doing a TV Show, then the commercial breaks are the obvious points. Just make your chapter breaks during these breaks before editing them out so that your dividing pauses won't make a difference as they will get edited out anyway.

So do you mean if I put no markers in and do no dividing, that the e80 will create a chapter on it's own every 5 minutes of play time. If so, how are these chapters viewable and selectable or are they just invisible skip forward and reverse points?
