  1. I have a panasonic dvd-cp72, if i copy a dvd ( PAL to NTSC) and remove the region restrictions, will the dvd play the way it should, or will i have dropped frames due to the 25 - 29.97 frame difference? has anyone tried this?

Just keep in mind, if you haven't already, :c) that region coding is totally unrelated to PAL vs. NTSC

The disc can not be converted while copying. It needs to be re-authored. Perhaps you know that. :c) You do mention the different framerates, but don't mention how you plan to go about it.

  3. thanks for the reply, i did the re-author, and the audio is out of sync, so i was just wondering if i remove the region restriction would it play properly, or drop frames.

Removing regions, as I said, has nothing to do with it. When you author a disc it is region-free anyway. :c)

You'll need to head to those guides and links, I'm afraid, to sort any sync issues.
