Hello all,
I discovered that when used to create elemental streams (e.g. m2v and wav), MainConcept 1.4 produces video/audio files that are very slightly out of sync. I don't see this problem when using MC1.4 to encode multiplexed MPG files, but with elemental streams, they are out of sync by a hair.
I encode with elemental streams so that I can re-encode the audio to AC-3 and then author with DVD-Lab. I noticed the out-of-sync problem when I made a DVD of a drumming festival -- with all the fast motion the A/V sync problem is readily apparent.
Anyone else seen this problem? I think I am giving up on MC1.4. Quality results are not quite up to par with TMPGEnc and the audio sync problem makes it worthless to me. Yes, TMPGEnc is slower, but it's more reliable and produces better results for me. CCE doesn't work at all for me either -- just encodes multicolored blocks.
Thanks,
vcddude
