Tool 4 switching between monitor and t.v

Hi all. my pc is in one room and my t.v in another. i have a t.v out on my graphics card . i can switch between moniter and t.v the problem is i cannot see what im doing due to the walls lol.. is there a tool or something out there that i can use to just automatically switch from moniter to t.v so i dont have to keep going from one room to another.. i want to be able to say run windoes media player in full screen hit a key or something and it just flick to the t.v screen .. so i dont have to mess around resizeing stuff..

They make switch boxes and adapters for everything. I find all my stuff at Fry's, Microcenter or Radio Shack. I've got some weird stuff too.

Try TVtool. It's in the tools section. Will permit you to output both to your TV and monitor at the same time even though your graphic card isn't a "dual-head". There's a new verson 9.0 I think. Works well.

There is a piece of hardware called a KDM switch or a KVM switch I think that will do what you want.
