locked file with dvd ripping

im trying to backup one of my dvds and i have done this many time before there is one prob

smart ripper:
the file is lock

dvd decrypter:
cant read file

i tryed useing power dvd up unlock and that dont work

how do i unlock this file?

i have riped 2 other disc from this box sets with no problems

Have you tried using just dvd shrink and either DVD Region free or Anydvd, transcode on the fly without ripping first.

Also, which box set are you trying to backup ?

im trying to back up transformers season 2 part 2

so far i have backed up season one and season 2 pt 1 with no problems

i ripped them with dvd decrypter, reencoded them with dvd shrink, and burned them with nero so its not my method

and will dvd shrink give me the same qualiity as ripping it to my hdd first?
will it ruin the dvd?
