    But I cannot play it.
    I view it with avicodec
It gave me the data below

    File : 703 MB (703 MB), duration: 1:42:59, type: OGG, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 45 %

    Video : 655 MB, 890 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 480*352 (4:3), DX50 = DivXNetworks Divx v5, Unsupported

    Audio : 47 MB, 64 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 channels, 0x674F = Ogg Vorbis (mode1), Supported

Careful with that one: K-Lite Codec Pack
This codec pack contains everything you need to be able to playback the most popular audio and video formats(DivX, XviD, AC3, WMV, WMA, MP3, MPEG2). Warning! If you install all codecs and filters you may get video playback problem. Only install the ones you need.
If you're going to recommend that, might be best to send people to the TOOLS- Codec link on this site, so they see the warning, rather than a direct DL link.

ahh - you've added it now :c) I've changed my link to the main Codecs page.

  4. Careful with that one: K-Lite Codec Pack
Agree.... DivX 5 is offered by at the DiVX Site and is easy to download and install. I advise to just install the necessary codec instead of that pack.

If you install the K-lite pack then the DivX bundle, then all you can do is re-format your drive, you've hosed yourself.

Come on people ya'll missed the problem. The 4cc header isn't being recognized. Get the 4cc changer and make it divx/divx and it will play fine. This assumes you've installed the OGG-Vorbis sound pack.

It didn't regognice the 4cc of DX50 because it's brand new.
