TMPGE crashing when using it's audio player

Using the TMPGE wizard. Loaded DVD2AVI's .d2v and wav files.
Went into the audio tab.
I set the output fade then thought I'd check how it sounded. When I dragged the slider to the end of the audio then hit play, a box appear stating an TMPGE error , I hit the OK and TMPGE closed completely.

It kept reoccuring with that wav file but not with another wav file I tried (it was much shorter - 2mins V's 50mins).

It did let me adjust volume and hit OK, just played up when using slider.

I don't have the error code that was produced with me at work but I thought I'd post this anyway.

Any thoughts people ?
