    if ive got an svcd and want to crop it slighty, (just add black crop a slight bit off the top) is it possible to do this without reencoding? ie another encode will reslut in another loss of quality?

    any ideas / help?

    From what I understand, AviSynth doesn't re-encode (I should check), but it does have a Cropping function.
