I have been having problems with all the programs I have tried while editing MPEG2 files. I have tried using Video Studio 6, TMPGE, and Womble MPEG2VCR and a few others I can't remember. The main problem is that they do work for a few files, then stop working after that.
Womble worked best and did exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately it only worked perfectly for 4 files, now the sound goes out of sync until it goes to silence while the video keeps playing. The similar thing happened with TMPGE but the video went too fast. I thought this may have just been a problem on my PC, so I tried it on a computer that Womble was working fine on, and it was doing the same thing as well.
I also tried uninstalling and re installing the programs, and it didn't help either.
I then thought it may have been a problem with the MPEG2 file, so I captured it again and the same things happened.
Why do all PCs hate me?
Any ideas what may be the problem? What is the best output when saving in Womble? There are about 3 MPEG2 settings there.

It may be the file itself may be in a corrupt state on the FTP site you got it from.

Do you mean the Womble install file?
Seems strange that the program worked fine the first few times.

If you change the settings in Womble it changes from an editor to an encoder.
