Ive been buring alot of movies latly and its very hard to get a good one. The only thing I can think of is its the media, which seems to be the problem most of the time. Ok I ordered a 50 pack of G03's from supermediastore.com about 2 or so weeks ago. They say that its Authentic Ritek Ridata G03. Ive never tried the Ridata kind. Anyways they have been burning like shit. Is there a difference. What im trying to say is, is there such a think is Ritek Ridat G03 and just plan A Grade Ritek G03's. Because Meritline says its just Grade A Ritek G03's. Is there a differnce. Anyway just wanting to know, and has anyone else experinced this? Anyway Thanks.

I buy my Ritek's from www.shop4tech.com
Mine are Authentic Ritek Media bundled by Ritek. They are 1x-4x media and the 100 pack I bought was $124...so $1.24 a disc.
They are RitekG04 though and I have never had any bad burns...so it may be your media. -
Well I updated my pioneer A04 to the new firmware 1.41 and now it burns at 1x but it works. It must be the media. Also does anyone know if i can downgrade my firmware back to 1.40 so I can burn at 2x. Anyways I guess ill have to check out your site where you get your media from.
Thanks,- -
Ritek Corp. decided to sell their products as Ridata Brand in USA and Canada. They even set up a new website for that purpose www.ridata.com. I think from now on, all ritek media are going to sell as Ridata brand in USA. But in Asian and Europe, the disks are still sold as Ritek brand.
