A friend uses Nero to record his LP's to CD.
He was complaining of losing disc space on the HDD.
I had a look around and found 15Gb of temp files, .tmp and .tmp_pk, created by Nero W.E. in C:\My docu...\LocalSettings\Temp folder.
I tried Disc Cleanup but they remained so I deleted them manually. HDD space returned.
I made a new recording and sure enough, some new tmp files appeared.
In the Settings tab of Nero W.E. "Leave peak files....." is not selected.
In the mean time i'v created a desktop shortcut to the Temp fiolder so they can be deleted manually.
Why aren't these files being deleted automatically ?
Thankyou.
