I cant create an MPG 1 file error messages

Im trying to create mpg 1 files for my handheld device and i keep getting these errors at sartt up ffmpegx says ,apple script error No result was returned from some part of this expression. (-2763)

Then each time i try and encode i get this from the progress bar,Encoding started on Sun Oct 26 03:21:29 GMT 2003

Now when i installed it said everything as ok so i dunno whats going on someone please help

Sorenson codec is not supported for "fast VCD" preset. Try to use "VCD" preset instead.
