  1. Im trying to back a back up of lotr extended version.

I want to make an additional *.vob that runs 1min and displays "Please insert disc 2"

I first made a *.bmp image then I turned it into an *.avi with virtual dub.
I then used AVIedit to multiply the frames to get 1min running time.

I then ran it through tmpgenc choosing setting DVD NTSC MPEG-2 720x480 VBR 7000 29.97fps and made
it 16:9 ratio. Created a *.m2v file which I renamed to *.vob

Now then, the problem is when ever I try to merge or multiplex it together with tmpgenc, I get no sound. When I try to run It all through ifoedit or vobmerge it locks up at the end of the *.vob once it starts on the *.vob I created. If I run it through DVD2one it ignores my created vob and doesnt add it in.

Am I going about his wrong or did I do something wrong?

    Thanks.

I first rip lotr using smartripper.

  2. I figured it out

The audio streams have to match in order to merge. The vob I created was only ac3 stereo while lotr vobs are ac3 dolby digital 5.1

Damn.... I could reincode everything but ah forget it.

They'll know when to insert disc two ^_^
