  1. I have converted a few dvd's to svcd with DVD2SVCD.
I really like the program but I cant seem to figure out what all the various files are in the movie file.
What exactly is a bbMPEG file. I know it is an mpeg file but why do I need it if I have a bin file? What is the difference?
Did I need to actually purchase TMPEGnc?
Also what are the "Encoded_video (audio)_TMPEGnc_NTSC.mpv?
Why would the program save these file?
As you can see I couldnt find a help file that went into this.

A short explanation is that DVD2SVCD is a group of several different programs from different sources that are linked together to do what the program is called, DVD2SVCD. The files you see are intermediate files that produce the final output. I only use the bin/cue files to burn the SVCD and ignore the rest. If you burn with Nero in image mode, you will only see the cue file when you access the movie folder. Two places for further information http://www.dvd2dvd.org/ and the Doom 9 forum http://forum.doom9.org/ I believe you can still get a freeware version of TMPGEnc, but I purchased TMPGEnc Plus because it has more features.

    Thanks for the info.
I see what you mean. Each program generates it particular file.
    Thanks again.
