I would like to resize using virtualdub and frameserve into tmpgenc. When i use tmpgenc to resize, I use FullScreen keep aspect ratio.
The source divx, to be converted into svcd, is 720x480 23.976 fps. How do I set the resize filter and cropping settings so that I get the same aspect ratio? If i set the new ratio as 480x480 for ntsc, I get a square instead of the rectangular video. DOn't know what numbers to enter.

Just use FULL SCREEN for the video arrange method (at least in this case since the original is full screen at 720x480) and it should be fine.
