I have an ATI 9700 and am having troubles with the multiple display. I used to use my 32 inch tv with the s-video out just for a second display just cuz I thought it was cool. 8) But now (after not having used the secondary display for quite some time) the tv rolls when I have it extended to my secondary display...it does it even if its used for the primary display! it is truly driving me crazy cuz i am hosting a nice holloween party tonite and want some of my visualizations to be displayed on it!
Anyone know of this kind of problem and how to fix it?
ps...I have a dvd player that I hooked to the svid to check, and it works just fine. so its not the tv OR the cord...

tsantsa, I don't know what to tell you.
I haven't had any problems with my ATI-AIW.
I like your sig line though, it reminds me of me!Evil flourishes when good men do nothing. -
Will it show the screen normally in safe mode???
You might try setting everything to default on the Video card -
Haven't used a ATI card for a while, but you might check your video adapter properties and see what your resolution/refresh rate is. Try setting it to 60Hz. Other than that, I don't know. At least in my experience, ATI cards can be a little quirky.

sorry i didnt get back to this post...it was party time!
Anyhow....I tried changing the refresh rate, I upgraded the drivers....nothin.
And I have yet to try it out in safe mode...
One other thing, it is also only in B&W while rolling...Boy do I love my avatar!
