I have alot of DVD-Rs I recorded on my panasonic dmr-e20 and want to reauthor them so they work on all DVD players can anyone help in the direction of this? what program would I need? what steps do I need to take to reauthor them from a DVD-R that is already finalized with the Panasonic dmr-e20

  3. If they can be read by a PC DVD drive, You can take the VOB files from the DVD via DVD2AVI (in conjunction TMpgEncPlus) and pull the data from the DVD and re-author them.
    Cendyne/Pioneer 105 & 104 with a Dazzle* Hollywood DV-Bridge.

  4. I am rather new with all these terms and don't really know what you want as far as what format. I have them on a DVD-R. the only thing I see on the DVD is a VIDEO_TS folder with a bunch of files in it. Can I take any of those files and reauthor them to another DVD that will work in other players. and would it take forever to do a DVD?

  8. The DVDs I make in the panasonic will not play in other players properly. as you read allot in the forum Panasonic makes them different than other machines. I want to take the DVD I have now and reauthor it with a program then copy it to another DVD so it will work in all players. I have had a few suggestions like the one above that tell me to use TMPGEN to reauthor it. That type of reply seems aweful easy to me but I don't know enough about it. I also would like to know how quick I should be able to do something like this for each DVD.
