  2. Click - start - settings - control panel - user accounts - change the way users log on or off - uncheck "Use Welcome Screen" and "Fast User Switching".

Thats how you do it XP classic version. Default XP menus are pretty much the same but the control panel is setup a little different. Make sense...?

Go into control paneles and look under users. See if there is a used named something like Asp.net. If so look here.

  5. CLICK START - RUN - TYPE " MSCONFIG" SELECT SERVICES TAB AND UNCHECK THESE (3) BOXES:

    FAST USER COMPATIBILITY
    NET LOGON
    SECONDARY LOGON

Then check apply then OK. YOur changes won't take effect til you restart and it will tell you that. If you turn off the LOGON/LOGOFF options under user accounts that just changes the way your computer startup/shutdown Logon/off window looks. It will either be the Xp or the NT/2000 type. Leave them checked for the Xp look.

See if that helps. Also remember to delete the ASP.NET Acount in users. Make sure that you are actually the administrator too. Guess I should wrote that in my original reply
