  1. Alright folks, here's the deal: I'm out of discs, and I'm looking to try Ritek:

Any thoughts on these? $125 for 100

I'm looking for 100 ct printables, so I can write on them and maybe sometime soon print onto them. www.rima.com delivers my discs next day when I choose Ground, I live fairly close to them, so that's where I like to buy.

If those specific Riteks in the picture are crap, recommend me 100 ct 4X Ritek Printables (or not) from this page - I just want the best ones:

My burner is an NEC-1300A, hopefully they will burn at 4X on it (Princos do.)

I'm not too fond of trying any more Princos after what I've heard, and I don't have the extra dough to buy more Yudens for the time being. Thanks for the tips, I plan on using these discs for file backups from my PC mainly

  2. I have an NEC1300 aswell, and kno the difficulty in finding compatible -R discs, but tyhe Riteks wont do you wrong. They are extremly compatible, hard waring and ood value, whatever the brand name they are still Ritek made (sa long as their not fakes) and the ones you have chosen are GO4 which is undoubtedly their best dye yet, i say go for it.

I just bought 100 of them. Should be here in a few days. I'll let you know how it goes.

If they're like the orange-topped DVD-R I had last time, I'll be happy. The orange Ritek gave me a 100% success rate on 200 discs, something only Apple/Maxell can claim too.

I doubt these are any different. I'm hoping for more perfect burns.

  4. bought 100 of them last month, used them all without any problems on various dvd players, usual ritek quality at a very good price. if i can get hold of some more i will, my supplier also has a similar disc by ritek, unbranded with a plain frosted top and im half way through using them again without any problems. Ritek make the best and most compatible dvd-r's in the world, ive never had a bad disc in the 100's ive used
