vcd creation useing video wave 3

i have DAZZLE video creater 50 input, windows me, video wave 3 and roxio platinum 5.0

system specs p3 533,133mhz bus,640mb of ram and maxtor 30 gb hd at 7200rpm.

does any one have experience vith video wave 3?
will it encode to the right file format to make video cds with roxio platinum 5.0?

any advice on settings, capture format etc. would be greatly appreciated!!

I used MGI video wave III. I found that it is better to produce the captured file as AVI. Then I used TMPGEnc. The default VideoCD template production of VideoWave III was not that great. But I got great results using VideoWave(for AVI)+TMPGEnc(AVI to NTSC VCD). Hope this helps.

Out of interest - how did you use the TMPGENC from the Videowave - because if the AVI file is > 4 gig then you cant save it.
