The movie Gladiator has the quality bar showing 47%....Braveheart barely above 50%...

Question...what do I need to do (or use) to get more acceptable quality burning to only one disk?

What is an acceptable % of quality for the program CloneDVD?

use dvdshrink 2 convert and deselect languages u dont need, and u ll get better quality in video....of course only u have a dvd9 2 rip
    else use dvddecryptor 2 rip...

You're trying to squeeze blood from a stone. You're taking GIGANTIC movies and hoping to get good quality at 50% compression? Not going to happen. You can TRY the deep analysis of DVD Shrink or Instant Copy... but re-encoding or splitting is the best bet for movies of this size.

I am not sure whether the "Quality"bar that CloneDVD uses means that is the compression %....

Anyway, Gladiator looks pretty good after backing it up with CloneDVD
