Can someone do me a favor?

I have the Legend of Drunken Master DVD and am in the process of converting it to Divx. I would like the subtitles to it, however, I have a Mac, and there are no tools to get the .srt file available on the Mac. If someone with this movie could do this (I assume it doesn't take very long), and e-mail it to me, I would greatly appreciate it. My e-mail is krgermie@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance!

No, It's not illegal. If he owns the DVD and someone else owns the DVD, there's no foul play. It may be the same as someone who doesn't know how to rip MP3s asking for a song from thier own CD.

I guess any request like that is questionable, since "The Man" is so anal about Fair Use and interpretation.

Best bet is to help him to do it himself.
