Hi all. I want to convert my .MOV files to mpeg. apparently I can do this with a quicktime codec for TMPGenc. Can anyone tell me where I may get this codec - and any other advice I may need on the conversion?

  4. Last time I checked the mov plugin for TMPGenc did NOT come from the main TMPGenc website (it's 3rd party). Also not everyone buys TMPGenc, as encoding to MPEG1 is free (you only pay to encode to MPEG2).

It's nice to be 'helpful' with the suggestions but it didn't really answer the question or address 'the point you were trying to make':

Aside you can also d/load the TMPGEnc Mov Plugin from the "Tools" section to the left.
