    i've come across a problem with cutting a video file that i can't seem to figure out.

    i want to cut a mpg file to a certain length using tmpgenc but when i run the process it only cuts the video up to a certain spot and never beyond it. i've tried all the utilities mentioned in the cutting guides and all of them come out with the same result.

    is there something i'm missing?
