    How many of you knew what the P-Scan button on the remote was for and didn't get a image in black & white when you hooked up the player for the first time using the Y/C out?

    You would never know anything (or very little) from the manual or their site!

    I basically purchased the unit because it could play divx and was $100 cheaper that the kiss model.

    I believe the liteon is a "work in progress" via firmware.

    If this 'P-Scan' button was relabeled to 'Format' I probably wouldn't of created this thread, or better yet if it was in the menu where it sould be (AFAIC). After you set it to your monitor or TV, why would you need to change unless you move it to another with different inputs?

    I was already to send to send it back since I tried 2 other cables and couldn't see anything in the menu that would affect this.
