  1. I just encoded an 82 min. movie and I want to put it on 1 80 min. cd. My only problem is that my file is 810 mb which is too big for nero. Someone told me I could re-encode it with lower audio settings to get my file size smaller without noticably lowering the quality of my movie. My question is how do I lower my audio settings using TMPG? or Does anyone know of another solution to my problem? Thx, in advance.

If you lower the bitrate, your VCD becomes a XVCD.
Before you start I suggest to install tooLAME and use it as external audio encoder. Option> enviromental setting> external tool> Layer-2.
    File> MPEG tools> simple demultiplex
Select the new .mp2 file as audio source, select file> output to file> wave file, save .wav.
Select new .wav file as audio source and the .m2v file as video source. Make sure, the correct framerate is selected.
Then check "audio only" , go to setting> audio tab.
    Select Layer-2 44100kHz and 128kbps.
    File> MPEG tools>simple multiplex.

The 2nd solution is to cut one or two minutes.
