I got a movie in .avi format. I used nero5.5 to burn it to a vcd. After I burned it I played it in my computer and it worked well.So then I went to my car dvd(panasonic dvd player)and it doesnt work. Can anyone explain why any help would be appreciated?

Did you try with cd-rw? Most panasonic dvd players ONLY support cdrw.

Stupid question, but did you know to convert it to VCD Compliant MPG file first? You can't just put an AVI file on a CD and call it a VCD.
