  1. Hi,
    I tried to convert avi to dvd.
    With audio avicodec showed ac3dvm.
    How do I get the audio part from this avi to encode into mpg2?
    I tried virtualdub and I failed.

    No conversion required, it's AC3/5.1 already. Strip it out with VDUB (see the guides for vdub with ac3 and wich version and what you need to do to 'fix' the file) then use it in your Authoring application (assuming it supports AC3).

    Convert video only and use the resulting m2v file.
