  1. Had a question....I fully downloaded some home video from a friend who converted his MiniDV Cam DV to XVID. I can watch the video on my PC with no trouble but when I load it into TMPGEnc, it gives me this error on the video stream....Broken B Frame, Missing Reference Frame....any ideas. Maybe something happened in dl? I dunno but no program will convert this to DVD mpg. Is there a way to Repair XVID AVIs?

    Thanks

  2. I'll give it a whirl, I saw that as a possibility but had to leave for work & I'll try that when I get home.

    Thanks,

  3. Tried Frameserving w/VirtualDub...........no luck. I don't understand what the damn error means. It just won't convert. You can watch it on the PC but no program will load it to convert it. Still keeps giving me that error. I"m out of options.

  6. Finally figured it out. I just changed my settings in TMPGEnc. Changed from Interlaced to Non Interlaced. Got rid of the error message and converted it w/o any problems...playback is great.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
