speed up pinnacle 8.10 rendering

right now i'm using P4 2.4Ghz 533Fsb,Ati All In Wonder Radeon 32Mb,2 maxtor 40gb ata133 set up in raid-o using promise tx2000,4 samsung PC1066 256mb= 1GB,my question is everytime captured something from my dv camcorder and render it using pinnacle 8.10 it always takes me almost 4hrs,its too long for me,does anybody know if i buy 2 western digital 36gb raptor 1000rpm hard drive and set them up in raid-o will make a big difference and decrease my rendering time?

You're one of the lucky ones to even get that program to render anything.

I gave up on it and just got NeoDVD Plus which will render a 4GB movie in about 30 minutes and it never crashes or locks up my computer.

That's not new. Pinnacle Studio is ALWAYS S..L..O..W.....
Can't expect magic from them.
Bob W is right, I also use NeoDVD version 5 and this software author a DVD from AVI file in no time.
