    Could anyone advise me why that I am unable to burn a DVD -r or +r disk sucessfully, I can burn without fail a + or - rw disk but when I try to burn a non rewritable it stops after 1% and locks up the system. I have tried 1 and 2 x speeds. I have a Sony Burner and have tried several different brands of media. Thanks!!!

    Help me, what Sony Burner (Model), what firmware version and what media are you using and lastly what authoring process (programs you are using) and what Software writing program and version?
