    What is the best codec for capturing?
    Pic , MOrgan ... or Uncompressed
    And what resolution should I capture? For dvd compile

    I think most people here would agree that Huffyuv is the best for DVD capture. You can download it for free.

    As for resolution, NTSC resolution is 720x480, so I would recommend staying with that, as that resolution is DVD compliant and will give the best results.

    yep - I agree. HuffyUV is very good for capture; I don't know about DVD capture - I usually rip DVD's and capture from VHS...
